We were pleased to complete a full bathroom refurbishment for Patrick and Anne Morris at their home, Higher Down Farm. The brief was to completely transform the existing bathroom into a fresh, modern and fully updated space, with all new finishes and upgraded services throughout.
The journey
Patrick and Anne wanted to modernise their existing bathroom, which had become dated and in need of a full overhaul. Rather than simply updating fittings, they decided to invest in a complete refurbishment to ensure everything was brought up to current standards. This meant stripping the room back to its shell so we could rebuild it properly from the ground up. From the outset, clear communication was key. We worked closely with Patrick and Anne to plan the layout and finishes, ensuring the new design would feel both practical and in keeping with the character of their home at Higher Down Farm.
What we did
We began by fully stripping out the existing bathroom, removing old fixtures, wall coverings, flooring and ceiling to create a clean starting point. New walls, flooring and ceiling were installed to provide a solid foundation for the updated space. The electrical system was completely renewed to meet current regulations, including updated lighting and safe power provision where required. At the same time, all plumbing was replaced to ensure reliable performance and long-term durability. Once the structural and service elements were complete, we installed the new bathroom suite and finished surfaces, delivering a clean, modern and fully refreshed room. The result is a bright, functional space built to a high standard—designed to serve Patrick and Anne comfortably for many years to come.
